I am running for Milwaukee County Circuit Court judge because we need to protect the rule of law and stand against the corruption we see from national leaders. I believe our legal system is at its best when it is led by judges who are diligent, prepared, and impartial. Throughout my career—from my time in law school to more than 15 years of practicing law in Wisconsin—I have seen firsthand how the law impacts lives, families, and businesses.
Public service and helping the community are values I was raised with and continue to honor. My father worked tirelessly as an attorney representing crime victims. He instilled in me the importance of service to others and I aim to follow in his footsteps of living out the value of community through my legal career.
I hope to continue to have a direct, positive influence on my community through a career in public service by serving as a Milwaukee County Circuit Court judge.
In my legal practice, I’ve handled everything from a complex nationwide class action on behalf of thousands of workers, to family disputes over businesses and inheritance. I’ve also served four years as in-house counsel for a major consumer goods company, giving me a unique perspective on the practical side of the law.
I have seen firsthand the direct impact our judicial system can have on criminal defendants, victims, and civil litigants. I know how a judge’s words and actions can help calm difficult situations and afford comfort to people in the courtroom and beyond. These experiences have taught me that a judge’s role isn't just to rule on the law, but to ensure that every person who enters the courtroom is treated with dignity and that justice is delivered fairly.
From the bench, I will work to ensure that the courtroom is a space where equity is a reality, not just an aspiration. I know that the law must be applied with an eye toward its real-world consequences for the people in the litigation and for the broader community.
My commitment to Milwaukee County goes beyond the courtroom. This is where my wife Kelsey and I have chosen to raise our daughters, and it’s a place I am proud to serve.
I’m deeply invested in the safety and well-being of our community and currently as a member of the Fox Point Police Commission.
In order to support kids in my faith tradition, I also volunteered with BBYO’s Wisconsin Region for a decade as an advisor to the Solomon AZA chapter. My goal is to give back to the place that has given me so much.
I’m running for Judge because I believe my background as a litigator and strategic advisor has prepared me for the challenges of the Circuit Court. I have spent my career solving difficult problems and navigating high-stakes disputes with a focus on fairness and common sense.
As your judge, I promise to be a neutral arbiter who listens carefully, decides cases based on the facts and the law, and acts with thoughtfulness and diligence on the bench. I would be honored to bring my experience, my integrity, and my work ethic to the Milwaukee County bench.
